Shawnah Bennett

Shawnah Bennett has been licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas since 2009. She graduated in the top 5% of her class at the University of Kansas School of Law where she served on the Law Review. Prior to law school, Shawnah worked in the social services field at the Department for Children and Family Services and later for Saint Francis Community Based Services. Shawnah is a member of the American Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas Women Attorneys Association, Reno County Bar Association, and the Family Law section of the KBA. Shawnah has served as the Secretary of the Reno County Bar Association and as a board member of the Child Visitation and Exchange Center. Shawnah currently serves on the Bench and Bar committee of the Reno County Bar Association. Shawnah serves as a faculty member for the National Business Institute, and has lectured at continuing legal education seminars about Prenuptial Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements, Creative Parenting Plans, and Admission of Social Media Evidence. Shawnah’s practice areas with StrongPoint Law include Family Law, Paternity, Cohabitation and Premarital Agreements, Adoption, Juvenile Law, Municipal Law, Criminal Expungements, and Estate Planning.
